Founded In 2006, It was our vision to produce Estate Bottled wines from Vinifera in the emerging Conneaut Creek AVA.

Situated upon a Ridge 3 Miles From Lake Erie, at an altitude of 855'FT. the Terrain falls off over 200'FT down to Lake Erie. The soil is a "wretched" gravel, clay that historically has been horrible for crop farming.

It was love at first sight.

In January of 2009 We aquired about 6 Acres Across Keefus road, that is a North facing slope.
It was once a Motocross track, and is even more Gravel Clay. This is where the Retail/Cellar will eventualy be situated, atop the highest part of that Property. We are calling this the Belvedere Vineyard, due to it's stunning views over Lake Erie.

Our first plantings consisted of Cabernet Franc, Gewurtztraminer, Muscat, and a few oddball varieties. We have since added Malbec, and in the spring of 2009, we are adding Tempranillo, clone 01, and 04. We do all the grafting and rooting we can, as in doing so, we can best respond to what rootstocks do best with which varieties in which portion of the vineyard.
All root stocks, as well as Scion material are being propagated on site.
